The scriptures teach us that children are a gift from God, wonderful and precious, and are to be guarded and guided carefully. Staff and many volunteers are Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certified and St. John’s honors Safe Sanctuary policies. We seek to ensure that our children's ministries are vibrant at St. John’s with programs on Sunday morning as well as weekday programs. There are many special activities and opportunities for our children to be in service to others. We have a wonderful new state-of-the-art building for our children's ministries. The children's ministry at St. John's is proud to have achieved recognition as a Church for All God's Children. Congregations who have been recognized by this program have undertaken specific actions to make their churches more responsive to the needs of children and their families in the church and community. This endeavor is one that is intended to transform the congregation into a more "child-friendly" place, one that welcomes and stands with "the least of these."
